As a repair technician, you work independently or in a team and are responsible for routine maintenance and repairs following fault reports. In addition to fault reports, residents and customers request various smaller services and repair tasks in apartments and facilities. Ongoing contact with residents, customers, and contractors is an essential part of your duties. You will also handle the procurement of consumables and maintenance of your own work equipment. The position may also include tasks in property maintenance and outdoor environment work, as well as simpler tasks in operational technology. Working as a repair technician offers a varied daily routine with freedom within responsibility. Your daily work includes: Routine maintenance and repairs following fault reports Troubleshooting Repairs and maintenance in electrical, construction, plumbing, and minor ventilation work Managing daily customer contacts Reporting in our digital systems You will use your mobile phone or computer to receive and report your work. You will work both independently and with your colleagues, and you are expected to solve the challenges you encounter on your own. You contribute with your expertise and engagement We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, unpretentious, and helpful. We are looking for someone who: has upper secondary education and/or vocational education focused on property operations or management, or equivalent competence acquired in other ways, and has experience with similar work has a B driver's license speaks and writes Swedish fluently it is a merit if you have professional qualifications/certificates in plumbing or electrical work About the position This is a fixed-term employment for six months, from September 1, 2026 to February 28, 2027, based in Karlstad.
