Valmiera Secondary School No. 5 (hereinafter – the Institution) is hiring a maintenance worker (full-time position) for a fixed-term contract. Work location: Raiņa Street 3, Valmiera, Valmiera Municipality.
If you have the desire to:
• monitor engineering systems (heating, water and sewage systems, sanitary facilities, electrical installations) and promptly address any damage;
• perform regular inspection of work spaces and necessary repairs;
• provide technical support in preparing and ensuring the Institution's events and other organized activities;
and if you have:
• secondary or secondary professional education;
• proficiency in the state language in accordance with the State Language Law requirements;
• at least 2 years of experience in performing maintenance and auxiliary work;
• knowledge of building engineering systems and the operating principles of tools used at work;
• desirable experience with minor electrical installation repairs;
• ability to perform physical work, work independently and as part of a team;
• Category B driver's license;
