A Snapshot of Your Day Join our dynamic Remote Diagnostic Center's Intelligent Statistics & Analytics team (RDC ISA), where expertise is vital in ensuring business continuity. Dive into fleet operational data from Medium, Small, and Aeroderivative Gas Turbines to uncover performance trends that enhance reliability engineering. Lead technical investigations to identify root causes of failures and collaborate with engineering teams to implement effective mitigation strategies. Contributions will directly translate statistical findings into actionable product and service improvements, making a significant impact on operational oversight and strategic objectives. How You'll Make an Impact You ensure that collection, aggregation, and analysis of fleet operational data is conducted in an industry-standard qualitative manner to monitor performance across Medium, Small, and Aeroderivative Gas Turbines. Calculate and report on key reliability indicators, including availability, Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and Forced Outage Hours (FOH). Identify and present 'Top Offenders' to product managers and engineering stakeholders, highlighting primary causes of downtime. Initiate and lead technical investigations to determine root causes of outages and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop mitigation plans. Ensure the quality and integrity of operational statistics while improving processes for data collection and utilization. Proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of gas turbine systems and operational statistics analysis. Excellent collaboration, influencing skills, and technical communication abilities to engage stakeholders effectively. About the team The RDC for Gas Services consists of two departments: one for daily operations to deliver active monitoring with notifications & monitoring reports (RDC AIM) and one for the development and sustaining of analytics & operational statistics for the distributed fleet. The RDC ISA team comprises eight engineers with various backgrounds in programming, data science, and mechanical engineering. RDC ISA supports the RDC AIM team in improving and developing new analytics to detect symptoms of failures and prevent forced outages, and collects, aggregates, calculates, and reports statistics for AGT, MGT, and SGT fleet. The reliability engineers in RDC ISA support both CTS internally—primarily CTS Technical support & CTS Customer Fleet managers—as well as the wider business as product owners and external customers with relevant operational statistics. Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet. We can offer you employment benefits such as: reduction of working hours, advance vacation, health care allowance, and an eventual possibility of a flexible working place. Who is Siemens Energy?
