The Competence Supply Section is responsible for upper secondary adult education, SFI, basic adult education, adapted education for adults, Falu Learning Center, and the Guidance Center. Within Adult Education, approximately 20 employees work today and we provide independent career guidance, conduct adult education in-house, and offer a broad range of external training programs (authorization). Adult education should be the individual's and society's opportunity to meet the competence needs that arise. About the Assignment As head of the Guidance Center and authorization in Falu Municipality, you are responsible for study and career guidance, administration, and authorization-related processes such as ensuring and following up on quality within adult education. You have a central role in creating efficient processes and good service for residents, students, and collaboration partners. The assignment involves developing the organization based on future needs and strengthening the connection between education, working life, and competence supply. You work closely with the school director and other leaders within the Competence Supply Section, which are organized within the Employment and Social Administration, to create a cohesive and forward-thinking organization. Job Duties In this role you will, among other things: Lead and develop the Guidance Center. Be responsible for study and career guidance activities. Work systematically with quality, analysis, and follow-up. Lead administration, business developers, and qualified case handlers. Be responsible for admission and authorization processes. Develop student flows, processes, and working methods. Strengthen collaboration with the working life, authorities, training providers, and other municipalities. Contribute to development within DalaWux and other collaboration forums. Develop relationships, accessibility, and outreach activities. Clarify roles, responsibilities, and assignments within the organization. Qualifications For this role, the following are required: Teaching degree or other education that the employer deems relevant for the position Experience from management or leadership assignments Experience leading organizational development and change management Experience with collaboration between different actors Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Experience from public sector operations Knowledge of education systems, labor market issues, and competence supply Experience with process management, government authority, or administrative operations Experience with collaboration with labor organizations Terms of Employment The position is a permanent full-time employment starting by agreement.
