We are seeking a confident and present leader who understands the importance of adult education for individuals' opportunities and society's skills supply.
What can we offer you?
As a rector, you will lead a school unit within municipal adult education with primary responsibility for vocational training and adapted education. Together with colleagues, staff, employers, and regional partners, you will contribute to creating high-quality education that meets the labor market's skills needs and provides people with opportunities for work and further studies.
In your role as rector, you will lead the operation based on national goals and the municipality's mandate, with overall responsibility for operations, personnel, finances, and work environment. You will lead systematic quality work with a focus on high quality and good results, and you will be part of the management group for Adult Learning, where you contribute to the development of the entire operation.
An important part of your assignment is to create and develop long-term collaborations with employers, industry representatives, the Swedish Public Employment Service, other authorities, and educational providers. You will also represent the operation in regional cooperation within Vocational Adult Education and contribute to developing the educational offering based on the labor market's skills needs.
You exercise confident and trustworthy leadership and are motivated by developing the operation together with staff and colleagues. Through dialogue and trustworthy leadership, you build good relationships, create engagement, and drive development with a focus on quality and results. You see both people's and the operation's development opportunities and have the ability to translate goals into concrete operational development. Together with staff, colleagues, and the operations manager, you create conditions for an operation that makes a real difference for students and contributes to the labor market's skills supply.
