About the Position Skönadalsskolan is located in a nature-close and peaceful area in Hofterup. The school has a long history of strong results and structured quality work. Student welfare is particularly important, and we expect you as principal to be active, informed, and engaged in student matters and student welfare processes. As principal, you have overall responsibility for after-school care, pre-school class, and grades 1–6. You are responsible for operations, personnel, finances, and work environment. To support you, you have an experienced assistant principal, engaged teachers, and a stable support organization including special education teachers, educational psychologists, student administrator, and caretaker. You will also be part of the municipality's principal group and can, in dialogue with your supervisor, take on a larger assignment at the municipal level. Are You the One We're Looking For? We are seeking an experienced principal drawn to the opportunity to lead students toward strong results. You are confident in your leadership, well-grounded in governing documents, and have a strong focus on student development and learning. You are present, attentive, clear, and courageous. You believe in participation and that both staff and students should be involved in processes and decisions, even when the final decision rests with the principal. You work with trust and clarity, are skilled at delegating, and are thorough in following up on the school's work and implemented measures. You have a pedagogical background in grades F–6 and several years of teaching experience. You have started or completed principal training. You have the ability to build good relationships with staff, students, guardians, and union representatives.
