Understanding of the conditions for higher education, research, and collaboration is important, particularly within GIH's areas of activity. Insight into and interest in sport and health and its place in society is also of great importance. Experience leading higher education operations is a merit, as is your own experience in education, research, and collaboration. Good knowledge of public administration and its decision-making processes, as well as understanding of the political structure within which the agency operates, are also desirable. You have successfully driven development and improvement work with good results and have experience actively and successfully representing and positioning an organization. Furthermore, you have insight into the sector's challenges and experience working with collaboration and external research and education funding. You also have the ability to create engagement and promote a good work environment. The role requires good communication skills and strong collaboration abilities. Based on a clear vision and modern leadership, work can be led and distributed, while responsibilities and authorities are delegated appropriately. Success in the role also requires the ability to create and maintain collaborations with external stakeholders nationally and internationally, within the sports movement, the health sector, and government departments. Good language skills in both speech and writing in Swedish and English are required. GIH promotes diversity and equality within all employment categories.
