We are now looking for an engaged and confident leader who wants to lead and continue developing our operations. Perhaps you already work as a principal, assistant principal, or team leader – or maybe you're an experienced preschool teacher who feels ready for the next step.
If this is your first principal role, you'll have the opportunity to develop as a leader in a small operation with significant influence and short decision-making paths.
About the Position
As principal, you have overall responsibility for leading and developing the operations in accordance with the preschool's mission and governing documents. You are a pedagogical leader who works alongside the educators to create an environment where children have the best possible conditions to develop and learn.
The principal role is not a full-time position, but there is the possibility of creating a full-time role by combining the principal position with work in a classroom group. The distribution between these two parts can vary based on the operational needs.
Rönnbäret is a small operation with short decision-making paths and close collaboration between the principal, educators, and parents. As principal, you also work closely with the board and have significant opportunities to influence the continued development of the operations.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with a pedagogical university degree and experience from educational work, along with genuine commitment to the preschool's mission. You are a clear, communicative, and relationship-building leader with the ability to engage others and create participation.
You don't need to have worked as a principal before. For us, your leadership, personal qualities, and willingness to develop are at least as important as previous principal experience.
