At ULNA Förskolor, there is a stable operational foundation with clear structures, common working methods and a well-functioning systematic quality assurance process that provides you with good conditions for your role.
The organization is currently undergoing important development to create better conditions for close, sustainable and long-term leadership. The rector role is being refined with the ambition that you will be more present in the operations, work closely with your staff and fully focus on quality and development.
We are now seeking two rectors for some of our preschools in Uddevalla who want to continue this journey with us.
Your Responsibilities
As a rector, you have overall responsibility for operations, staff and finances, and you lead the educational work in accordance with school legislation and curriculum.
In these roles, the focus is to deepen and implement the work that began in the fall. This involves contributing to stability, clarity and a productive working atmosphere, and together with your staff, gradually develop the operations based on where each preschool currently stands.
A central part of the role is to continue establishing and clarifying common working methods, structures and processes. This means working within existing frameworks and contributing to a shared understanding of the role so that the operations are characterized by clarity, predictability and common direction.
Your responsibilities also include ensuring functioning routines and a structured approach that provides staff with good conditions for their roles. The systematic quality assurance work is developed further as a natural part of daily operations, with a focus on quality, continuity and children's learning, combined with a good and sustainable work environment.
You are part of a collegial rector team and work closely with other rectors, where you collectively take responsibility for the whole and support each other in leadership.
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you have a strong ability to create structure, organize and drive work forward in a complex and changing operation. You work systematically, maintain the big picture and ensure that decisions are implemented in practice. At the same time, you are a present and relationship-building leader who builds trust, brings your staff along and creates engagement in day-to-day work. You have a good ability to create security and help others grow, both in their roles and together as a team. You also have a good ability to build relationships with parents and other external stakeholders.
You have a pedagogical higher education degree, preferably as a certified preschool teacher or equivalent, as well as good knowledge of the education system's governing documents. Furthermore, you have experience leading and developing operations, with responsibility for staff, finances and quality. You have completed rector training and have several years of experience in leadership within preschool or equivalent operations.
For this role, we see it as particularly important that you have a clear, trust-based leadership style where you combine structure and follow-up with a genuine interest in people. You are communicative, attentive and have the ability to provide direction while helping others want to contribute and develop together
