Recruitment Training - Production Worker/Warehouse Worker in Fish Industry

This position will begin with recruitment training in collaboration with the training provider Astar and companies in fish and shellfish production, along with the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen). Employers need 18 new employees for their facilities in Gothenburg and surrounding municipalities. Training start: Planned for week 38 Training duration: 12 weeks full-time, of which 2 weeks are testing and assessment. This is workplace-based training where you alternate between practical work and theory over 12 weeks. Astar and the employers will provide more information about what the work requires and which food production training modules are included at the information meeting. This recruitment training is for you who are registered with the Swedish Public Employment Service and completely unemployed. Are you interested in working in the fishing industry and able to: * Handle food safety procedures for fish and shellfish. * Manage the smell of fish and shellfish and work in cold, humid environments. You should have: * Good physical condition * Be able to work early mornings. Start typically at 06:00 * Be curious, engaged, and willing to learn new things. * A driver's license is a plus, but not required. * Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and comprehension * A forklift certificate is an asset but not required. * Some computer skills are an asset but not required. * A passed background check is required for this position * You are completely unemployed and registered with the Swedish Public Employment Service Does this sound interesting?
