About the Role
The work involves providing support throughout the assistance-eligible individual's entire day. This includes personal care, medical care according to delegation/instruction, habilitative interventions, daily stimulation, housework, and practical tasks at home.
An important part of the role is to contribute—through daily stimulation, structure, and individually tailored support—to improving the individual's functioning, creating security, and enabling the best possible life.
We are looking for you to have or be able to develop knowledge in:
We would prefer that you have thorough knowledge of acquired brain injuries and an understanding of how such injuries can affect communication, behavior, function, and daily life.
You also need to have knowledge of, or be prepared to receive training in:
* habilitative working methods and daily stimulation
* Type 1 diabetes and its significance in daily life and life-sustaining interventions
* epilepsy and measures for potential seizures
* low-affect interaction
* Studio 3
* documentation
* legislation related to LSS
* method-compliant work according to established routines and instructions
Training will be provided in several of the above areas.
Medical and Practical Competence
The role requires particular care because Type 1 diabetes is a central part of the individual's daily life and health. The assistant needs to understand the importance of routines, observation, reporting, and collaboration regarding the individual's condition.
Basic knowledge of epilepsy is also important, as is the ability to respond calmly and correctly in the event of seizures.
