Ö-varvet is a growing shipyard on Öckerö in Gothenburg's northern archipelago. We work with service, repair, and reconstruction of commercial vessels, including military and rescue boats, fishing boats, and ferries. We have broad expertise – from assemblers and mechanics to project managers and designers. Today we are around 170 employees. Our business continues to grow and in recent years we have hired around 25 new employees per year. Now we are looking for a recruiter who wants to be part of our growth journey and help us continue to attract and recruit the right talent. Ö-varvet is part of Ö-borgen – a group of companies employing almost 1,000 people. Within the group there is a central recruitment manager with whom you will work closely and receive support, while also becoming a key person in driving and developing recruitment at Ö-varvet. In your work you will use modern tools such as Jobylon, Refapp, Alva Labs, and Trustcruit. Beyond recruitment, you have an important role in creating a good employee experience. You work with developing and coordinating our processes for preboarding, onboarding, and offboarding, ensuring that new employees get a good start with us. Through a structured approach, you contribute to a positive experience throughout the employment relationship. You will also work with personnel administration in our HRM system Hailey. In the role you will, among other things: Drive the entire recruitment process – from needs analysis and job profile to employment contract Ensure a positive candidate and employee experience by developing and coordinating processes for preboarding, onboarding, and offboarding. Work with personnel administration in our HRM system Hailey Participate in strategic work on skills supply and plan and carry out activities to secure future competence, for example by participating in trade fairs and school visits As you understand, the role's focus is on recruitment, but we are a small HR department, which means you may help with other HR-related tasks. This could range from administering training to working with our values and culture issues. We would like to see that you have education in personnel science or a related field, but it is not a requirement. You communicate fluently in Swedish and have a good ability to understand and make yourself understood in English. As a person you are self-driven, confident in yourself, and have the ability to stand firm by a competence-based approach even when challenged. You are skilled at building and maintaining relationships, building trust, and bringing others along in change. At the same time you have the ability to see the bigger picture. If you live out on the islands you probably know how to get here, but getting to us from the city is also easy. Ferries depart every ten minutes from Lilla Varholmen and the journey takes only 12 minutes. Once you're on the other side it's only a couple of kilometers to the shipyard and there is both a bus connection and a nice bike path. Ö-Varvet is part of Ö-borgen.
