Activity Center in Södertälje is seeking rehabilitation assistants to join our team. We operate on behalf of the Social Psychiatry Authority and the Authority for Harmful Use and Addiction. The Activity Center provides spaces for work training, occupational activities, and social engagement for individuals with mental health disabilities, mental health challenges, and substance use issues, promoting return to work, studies, and expanded social networks for our participants. The cornerstone of our work is participation, meaning that our participants' needs and wishes shape our activities in line with evidence-based methods that promote recovery. We collaborate with both internal and external partners such as NSPH Stockholm, RSMH Södertälje-Nykvarn, study associations, and sports organizations, among others, in developing our operations. Your Responsibilities You will be part of a team with other rehabilitation assistants working in our operations and leading our activity groups. You will also serve as a resource person for a number of participants, meeting with them regularly to develop and follow up on implementation plans based on their wishes and needs. You document your work and provide feedback to the social worker who decides on the intervention, and you collaborate with work supervisors and employment consultants who are your colleagues, as well as make other necessary contacts to ensure your participants receive the best possible support in their rehabilitation. We work with participation at the forefront, meaning that participants help shape our activity groups together with you as staff. We follow up on our work through regular participant surveys and by giving participants the opportunity to participate in our participant forums. Who Are You? You adapt your support to each participant's conditions and needs, while challenging them to grow and develop. Requirements: Education as a rehabilitation assistant, social pedagogue, or other relevant education Experience working in social psychiatry and/or with harmful substance use and addiction Knowledge of recovery-oriented work methods Ability to create safety, trust, and confidence Good collaboration skills and a professional and empathetic approach Meritorious: Trained in DBT Skills Training (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) Experience supervising both individually and in groups Trained and experienced in low-arousal approaches Education in ESL, MI, and IBIC Personal Qualities: You enjoy collaborating and finding solutions together with your colleagues, while being able to drive and plan your own work You are calm and stable in contact with participants and can convey hope and faith to those you meet You take initiative that contributes to developing the work You have a salutogenic approach We place great importance on your personal qualities.
