Job Duties We are a good team consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants. We have an open work climate and value participation and teamwork highly. We offer a mentor based on your experience and preferences to facilitate and support your introduction to the work. As a rehabilitation assistant, your everyday work is rich in variety and you play an important role for the municipality's residents. You work in a team together with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, care personnel, and nurses. Your responsibilities include independently and together with colleagues executing rehabilitative services and assistive device management on behalf of physiotherapists/occupational therapists, and in collaboration with care personnel working with everyday rehabilitation to strengthen independence among our citizens. You work with residents who have different diagnoses and functional variations within the municipality's various operations, primarily in ordinary housing but also special housing, short-term housing, and group homes may become relevant. The work also includes training/guidance of care personnel. We offer skills development based on the needs our employees have to perform work that provides good rehabilitation for our municipality's residents. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant with a few years of experience in the profession. You have an interest in working with rehabilitation to increase residents' independence and quality of life and to work as an extension of physiotherapists/occupational therapists. Documentation occurs in both social care/disability services records and health services records depending on what service is provided, which requires good language skills both verbally and in writing. Further education in rehabilitation and/or previous experience working with rehabilitative services is a merit. You are responsible, positive, independent, and flexible. For us, it is important that you have good conduct and the ability to create and maintain good relationships with residents, relatives, and the rest of the team. A B driver's license is required.
