WORK TASKS Do you want to work at a capacity-building and strategic level to support and strengthen regional actors in the fight against prostitution and human trafficking? The regional coordinators at Växjö Municipality are placed at the Center Against Violence and work across the entire Region South together with colleagues in Malmö city. As a regional coordinator, you will be part of a committed team at the Center Against Violence that shares the goal of creating safety and protection for vulnerable individuals. The position is a collaboration between the Gender Equality Agency, the County Administrative Boards in Kronoberg, Kalmar, Blekinge and Skåne, and Växjö Municipality. The Gender Equality Agency has the national responsibility for convening regional coordinators in a network for experience exchange and competence development. The Center Against Violence is also the county's center of expertise and drives development by gathering expertise, strengthening collaboration, and developing working methods within intimate partner violence, men's violence against women, honor-related violence and oppression, and sexual exploitation and human trafficking. Through professional interaction, specialist expertise, and the ability to meet different target groups, we create trust and understanding together. The work currently includes support in individual cases, consultation and advice to authorities and organizations, preventive measures through competence-building activities, and outreach work together with, for example, the Police Authority. You will collaborate in national and regional networks and contribute to a comprehensive approach in the field. Your role going forward is to move from more operational individual support to promoting capacity building in the system in society. You will to a large extent direct yourself to professionals through consultative expert support, methodological support, training, coordination, and collaboration. The goal is for more parts of social services and other professional groups to gain increased ability to handle cases of human trafficking and sexual exploitation themselves. In your work, you will implement current national strategies in practice. You and your colleagues work with all forms of human trafficking, including exploitation for sexual purposes, forced labor, and exploitation in criminal activities. The position involves travel both within and outside Region South on a regular basis. QUALIFICATIONS Who are you? As a person, you are solution-focused, structured, and responsible. You can express yourself well in speech and writing, are confident and stable, and enjoy working at both a strategic and operational level. As a person, you are also driven and have the ability to work and manage your own work independently based on what each region needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements for the position: • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent • Driver's license (Category B) • Swedish and English in speech and writing • Experience with authority operations within social services • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to create sustainable relationships • You are comfortable speaking in front of groups • Flexibility, as there may be travel and some work at inconvenient times Merits: • Education or experience working against prostitution and human trafficking • Education or experience working with crime victims and against intimate partner violence • Experience providing consultative support to various authorities and organizations • Experience developing and delivering training Employment form: Permanent employment.
