This position is a temporary assignment from August 2026 to July 2027. About the Role Agria is the market leader in the Nordic region for pet insurance and is expanding in Europe. For the Business Support and Sustainability department, in the Governance and Compliance Support team, we are now seeking a compliance specialist with a focus on internal governance and control. In this role, you'll be a central part of our work ensuring that Agria meets the requirements placed on insurance operations, while we continue to develop in our markets. You work closely with operations with a clear focus on quality, structure, and compliance with both existing and new regulations, and you have many contact points both internally and externally, nationally and internationally. Your responsibilities will include: Responsibility for monitoring regulatory developments within the legal areas governing insurance operations in the countries where Agria operates, including ongoing contact with law firms in various countries. Compiling, analyzing, and reporting relevant regulatory issues and changes to the audit committee, management, and other key functions. Providing specialist support in anti-money laundering and serving as Financial Crime Prevention Officer, including responsibility for activities according to annual schedules, updating and maintaining work instructions, and providing specialist support in investigating sanctions screening and handling matches. Responsibility for Agria's register of authority contacts. Supporting quality improvement activities and participating in Agria's overall development and project work within relevant regulatory areas, such as consumer protection rules and anti-money laundering. What Will Make You Successful in This Role: Relevant academic degree in law or economics. Strong knowledge of the regulations and laws governing insurance companies, such as anti-money laundering, international sanctions, marketing law, the Electronic Communications Act, and other consumer protection regulations. Change-driven with knowledge of Lean-agile working methods and ability to conduct training and workshops. Strong skills in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new technology. Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Additional Qualifications That Would Be an Asset: Experience with anti-money laundering regulations in Norway, Finland, and France. Experience working in an international environment, preferably in organizations with branches in insurance or banking. Experience presenting to the board and management. Knowledge of other European languages, such as German, French, or Finnish. As a person, you are driven, analytical, and outgoing with strong customer focus.
