Job Description: Exercise authority as a regional building authority, review final and non-final decisions and measures issued by municipal building authorities, ensure uniform procedures in the exercise of state administration in this field including methodological, supervisory and control activities, all within the scope of land and water construction works in the territorial jurisdiction of the Olomouc Region Requirements: - Education and field of study: in accordance with Act No. 283/2021 Coll., Building Act, as amended - Subject knowledge: Building Act and related regulations, Administrative Code, Act on Offenses, Act on Regions - Special professional qualifications: for performing administrative activities in building code and for expropriation (advantageous) - Experience in public administration (advantageous) - Experience in the field within the last 5 years (advantageous) - Language skills: foreign language (English, French, German) (advantageous) - Additional required skills: user knowledge of PC (MS Office), Driver's License Category B, independence, communication skills, sense of teamwork, ability to think analytically and strategically Submit applications in a sealed envelope marked "DO NOT OPEN - Selection Process for Position: Building Code Specialist, Land and Water Construction Division, Regional Building Authority Office, Olomouc Regional Authority" to: Olomouc Regional Authority Personnel Department Jeremenkova 40a, 779 00 Olomouc or deliver to the office reception desk, no later than August 24, 2026 by 12:00 noon. The criminal record extract may be replaced with a statutory declaration of good character at the time of application submission. - Certified copy of the document confirming highest level of education achieved. The education document may be submitted as a simple copy at the time of application submission. In case of successful selection, the applicant is obliged to submit an original criminal record extract not older than 3 months, for foreign nationals also an equivalent document confirming good character issued by the home country not older than 3 months, and a certified copy of the document confirming highest level of education no later than before signing the employment contract.
