We are now looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist to join a well-renowned specialist team in central Stockholm.
About the Role
In this role, you will work closely with CFOs, finance managers, and finance functions on complex and evolving assignments. You will function as specialist support on qualified accounting matters and help clients navigate everything from ongoing group accounting to major change projects and strategic initiatives.
You will have the opportunity to work on some of the most advanced issues within accounting and financial reporting, while also becoming an important advisor in connection with, for example, acquisitions, disposals, capital raising, IFRS conversions, and implementation of new regulations.
The role involves close collaboration with experienced specialists where knowledge sharing, development, and quality are at the center.
Examples of Responsibilities
Manage and quality assure group accounting according to IFRS and K3
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, interim reports, and annual reports
Provide advice on complex accounting matters and regulations
Support clients in acquisitions, disposals, and restructurings
Participate in IFRS conversions and implementation projects
Provide specialist support to CFOs, finance managers, and finance departments
Conduct internal and external training in accounting and reporting
Contribute to the development of methods, processes, and work approaches
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with an academic degree in business/economics and several years of experience from auditing, accounting specialist roles, or qualified group accounting.
You have a genuine interest in complex accounting matters and thrive in an advisory role. You are analytical, commercially minded, and enjoy translating regulations into practical solutions that create value for the business.
We believe you have:
Several years of experience in group accounting and financial reporting
Strong knowledge of IFRS and K3
Experience with complex accounting matters
Experience from auditing, consulting, or a larger group environment
Good communication skills in Swedish and English
