Accounting Economist for Our Client in the Travel Industry

Do you want to work broadly with accounting in a business within the travel industry? We are now looking for an experienced and self-driven accounting economist for our client in Stockholm. You will have an important role as an Accounting Economist and will work with ongoing accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and financial statements. Job Responsibilities In this role, you will work independently with accounting and financial administration. The responsibilities include, among other things: Ongoing bookkeeping Customer and vendor accounts receivable/payable Invoicing and payments Reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts VAT and tax declarations Monthly and annual financial statements Reporting and analysis Participate in budget and forecast work Contact with customers, suppliers, and other external parties Other finance-related tasks We Are Looking for You Post-secondary education in economics or equivalent work experience. At least five years of experience in qualified accounting work. Self-sufficient in ongoing bookkeeping, accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, VAT, tax, and financial statements. Good understanding of financial flows and accounting principles. Very good Excel skills and experience working in accounting systems. Easy to learn new systems and work processes. Communicate fluently in Swedish and have knowledge of another Nordic language. Who Are You? To fit well in this role, you are thorough, organized, and self-driven.
