We are now seeking an accounting economist for an established company in the healthcare and rehabilitation sector. About the Role As an accounting economist, you will primarily work with ongoing bookkeeping, VAT and tax declarations, income declarations, and prepare financial statements and annual reports. You will also be responsible for the internal payroll process. Examples of work tasks include: Ongoing bookkeeping of the company's incoming and outgoing payments. Manage and ensure that taxes, employer and social contributions, and pensions are paid correctly and on time. Responsibility for monthly reporting of Intrastat and Norwegian VAT and participate in the work of compiling budget documentation. Responsibility for payment reminders and collection of customer payments. Assist the auditor in the review of the company's accounting. Registration and control of time reporting, absence management, and benefits such as wellness programs and company cars. Full handling of payroll documentation, control and payment of salaries. Main responsibility for administration and data in the company's payroll management system. Responsibility for reporting to relevant authorities in accordance with applicable legislation/regulations and collective agreements. Additionally, we think that you have: Academic degree in finance/accounting or education as an accounting economist or equivalent. A few years of experience as an accounting economist Are comfortable with the accounting process and have a good understanding of taxes, VAT and employer contributions as well as Norwegian VAT declarations. Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing Meritorious if you have: Education or experience in payroll administration and payroll systems Experience in personnel administration or HR-related work such as knowledge of labor law and collective agreements About the Company Our client is an established company in the healthcare and rehabilitation sector with an important role in contributing to people's health and well-being.
