About the Position We are seeking an Accounting Economist for a government agency in Lund. The role involves qualified project accounting related to larger and more complex research projects, such as EU-funded projects and those with multiple collaborating partners. You will become part of their engaged and competent finance team. The position includes the following work tasks among others: - Project accounting, with particular focus on larger and complex projects (e.g., EU). - Budget work and financial planning. - Year-end closing work. - Financial advisory services. - Monitoring and analysis of projects and operations. - Invoice management. - Beyond the above tasks, other administrative duties within the finance area may also occur. Assignment Period and Scope: The Accounting Economist position is a part-time consulting assignment at 75%, starting immediately by agreement and is expected to run for up to 1000 hours. Requirements for the Position: • University education in economics or equivalent education and at least three (3) years of work experience from similar work. Alternatively, upper secondary education or equivalent education in the relevant area and five (5) years of work experience as an accounting economist • Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent • Good knowledge of accounting systems in use (for example Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.) • Experience with government accounting • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing For us to be able to proceed with you in the process, you need to clearly demonstrate in your CV that all of the above requirements are met.
