JOB DUTIES We are now seeking a team member to work with Corporate Economics (FEK). You may also work on other parts of the section's activities in the future. With us, you will participate in the ongoing statistical production of Corporate Economics, which produces statistics on corporate production and consumption, profitability, investments, and inventory levels. The work encompasses everything from accounting matters, programming, and calculations to macroeconomic analyses. Statistics are compiled annually, and the results you produce are used to analyze the Swedish economy and form the basis for economic and political decisions. When needed, you will help explain, clarify, and provide deeper insight into questions related to your area of responsibility when we meet with our users. We work very collaboratively here and focus on ensuring that annual and quarterly statistics are coherent. We are curious and open to new ideas and reflections on new data sources, analyses, and development of tools to visualize our data quality reviews. QUALIFICATIONS We want you to have: • an academic degree in business administration with a focus on accounting or equivalent education that the employer considers equivalent • relevant and current knowledge or experience with programming languages for data analysis and database management, such as R or SAS • very good skills in Swedish and English in both speech and writing • good skills in Excel and other parts of the Office suite We consider it meritable if you also have: • current work experience that SCB considers relevant to the position (including work alongside studies and summer jobs) • experience in accounting, preferably consolidated accounting For this to be a good match for both you and us, you need to be problem-solving, analytical, flexible, and quality-conscious.
