SJR is now seeking an accounting specialist for an international company in Mölndal. About the Position As an accounting specialist, you will have a central role in the finance function and are responsible for ensuring a correct and efficient accounting process. You work closely with colleagues in finance and have ongoing contact with other parts of the organization, both nationally and internationally. Your work tasks will include: • Responsible for accounting in the general ledger and ensure correct bookkeeping • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Prepare and follow up on accruals and provisions • Perform account and balance reconciliations • Handle VAT reporting and other statutory reporting • Participate in preparation of financial reports and analyses • Responsible for accounting and monitoring of fixed assets • Ensure correct intercompany reconciliations • Be involved in internal and external audits • Contribute to development and efficiency improvements of accounting processes and procedures The position should be filled as soon as possible and is a consulting assignment via SJR at 100% for approximately 6 months with the possibility of extension. Our client is located in nice premises in Mölndal. Relevant Background We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in accounting as well as a few years of experience in qualified accounting work. You feel confident in the financial statement process and have a good understanding of how different parts of accounting relate to each other. To succeed in the role, we would like you to have: • Experience with financial statement work and account reconciliations • Strong knowledge of accounting regulations, VAT, and tax handling • Experience working in business systems and good system understanding • Very good Excel skills • Fluent English in speech and writing as well as good Swedish language skills in speech and writing It is an advantage if you have worked with Microsoft Dynamics 365. Furthermore, you are communicative and find it easy to create good collaboration in an international organization.
