About the role As an Accounting Economist at Elektrobyrån, you will be a central part of our administrative department. We are a company that currently operates at 12 locations, which means large financial flows and a varied daily work environment. You will work in a team together with two colleagues where you support our work managers and project leaders with financial expertise. The role involves you and your colleagues taking overall responsibility for the company's ongoing accounting, while also serving as backup for your colleagues during closing and reporting. Your direct manager is our CEO.
Responsibilities
Ongoing bookkeeping, supplier and customer accounting, order handling and invoicing.
Monthly and annual closing and group reporting.
Project accounting including progressive revenue recognition and analysis of project flows.
Payroll administration.
Ongoing contact and support to the organization's project leaders and work managers.
Participate in the implementation of new business systems.
Who you are We are looking for someone with a solid foundation in finance through at least 5 years of practical experience in qualified accounting. You have previously worked with independent closings and feel confident in the entire financial flow. If you have experience from the construction or installation industry and understanding of project accounting, that is a merit, as is experience with payroll administration. You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We would also like you to have some form of post-secondary education in finance (vocational school or university).
As a person you are stable, down-to-earth and flexible. You thrive in an environment where conditions can change and you have the ability to reprioritize when needed. Since the role involves many contact points, you need to be communicative and have a high service orientation. You are a team player who values good relationships and collaborative teamwork.
