Accounting Specialist Wanted on Part-Time Basis - Stockholm

About the Position We at Perido are now seeking an accounting specialist on behalf of our client, a government agency tasked with delivering administrative services and providing support to other government operations. You will be based at the office located in Sundbyberg in Stockholm, with the possibility of remote work by agreement. The scope of the assignment is 50-100% of a full-time position; please indicate in your application which scope you are interested in and able to work. Over a period of six months (with possible extension), the agency is seeking reinforcement for its accounting team in preparation for and during the annual financial statement closing. You will play an important role in the ongoing closing work and contribute your experience to ensure accurate and efficient accounting during an intensive period. Qualifications (the requirements below must be met and clearly stated in your CV): - University degree in economics or equivalent education and at least three (3) years of work experience in similar work. Alternatively, upper secondary school or equivalent education in the relevant field plus five (5) years of work experience as an accounting specialist - Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent - Experience with government accounting - Good knowledge of common accounting systems (such as Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.) - Good knowledge and experience in preparing annual financial statements, primarily from a government agency - Personal qualities to succeed in the role: being a consultant profile experienced in serving and maintaining contact with different clients, with the ability to build positive relationships with customer agencies and commissioners with the goal of creating satisfied customers - Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing Scope and Start Date Part-time 50-100%, consultant assignment for 6 months, with the possibility of extension for an additional 6 months.
