About the Position As an accounting economist at Bröderna Nilsson, you'll have a key role in the finance function and work primarily with ongoing bookkeeping and accounting. You'll be part of a small office team and report directly to Senior Finance Manager Maja. At Bröderna Nilsson, everyone works close to production, so you'll also collaborate closely with the factory manager. Beyond ongoing accounting work, the role includes HR and payroll administration. You're responsible for correct payroll handling, an efficient payroll process, and administrative support within HR. Your overarching goals are to ensure high quality in accounting and well-functioning HR and payroll systems. Your main responsibilities include: Ongoing bookkeeping and accounting, including accounts payable, bank and payments, monthly closing, and participation in audit preparation. For annual closing, a consultant can be brought in for support as needed. Payroll processing: preparation and running payroll for all employees, verification of documentation, ensuring timely and correct payments, and handling payroll-related reporting. HR administration such as payroll statistics, documentation for salary reviews, administering employee surveys, maintaining time tracking systems, updating policies, and administering benefits such as company car, wellness allowance, and corporate card. Your Qualifications High school diploma Post-secondary education such as vocational school, university, or equivalent experience 3-5 years of experience with similar accounting tasks. The role requires that you can work independently with bookkeeping and accounting. Previous experience with HR and payroll administration is a requirement. An asset: experience from an accounting firm and/or a small/medium-sized company Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing Experience with a bookkeeping system is required. Bröderna uses Garp for accounting and Kontek for payroll.
