Job Description As an accounting economist with a project focus, you'll have a broad assignment in a growing organization. The role encompasses ongoing bookkeeping, accounting, and investigation of financial matters, where you support both projects and regular operations through analyses and reports. You'll work broadly within the accounting field, with a distribution between ongoing bookkeeping, project accounting, and follow-up. You'll contribute to financial management in projects while also being part of the daily financial management of operations. You'll be part of the accounting function and report to the accounting manager. The role is an expansion, and the team consists of an accounting manager, an accounting economist, a controller, and a procurement coordinator. In this role, you'll work closely with operations and business development, where accounting and business meet in planning, implementation, and follow-up of projects. Work Tasks Your and the team's work tasks include: Reporting to external funders Project accounting Bookkeeping and accounting Ongoing bookkeeping Monthly, quarterly, and annual reports Budget and forecast follow-up Analyses and financial decision support WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You thrive working in a broad role and have an interest in both ongoing bookkeeping and project accounting. You're motivated by working with externally funded projects that contribute to the development of our region. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility, and have the ability to collaborate with different functions in the organization. As a person, you're communicative and comfortable with many contact points. You enjoy sharing your expertise and create engagement and work satisfaction in the team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent education or experience deemed equivalent Good experience with ongoing bookkeeping Good knowledge of Swedish and English Comfortable working with accounting systems and other relevant systems Driver's license category B Meritorious: Experience with applications, reporting, and follow-up in externally funded projects, for example EU-funded projects Experience with investments Experience with asset accounting The position is full-time and a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period. Salary is negotiable and a collective agreement applies. Start date to be agreed upon.
