You will be part of the Planning and Follow-up unit, which is responsible for financial planning, monitoring for internal management, and financial accounting. We ensure that the authority follows good accounting practices and are responsible for the annual report. About the Position In the role of accounting economist, your main responsibilities will include: - Accounts payable process, which involves payments to projects and providing support to operations in vendor invoice management - Accounts receivable process, which includes reviewing and ensuring that the basis for customer invoicing is correct - Incoming payments - Ongoing support for operational inquiries - Loan accounts - Fixed asset register - Year-end closing work with reconciliations and annual reporting - System administration Your place of work is: Stockholm or Östersund Requirements for this position: - Economics education from university or college, or education that Tillväxtverket considers relevant for the position (vocational education) - Several years of experience with similar work tasks - Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written The following knowledge/experience is considered an advantage: - Accounting systems such as Unit4 ERP - Government accounting - System changes or implementations - Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel As a person, we are looking for someone who is responsible, thorough, and analytical, with a good ability to build relationships.
