You will be part of the Planning and Follow-up unit, which is responsible for financial planning, monitoring for internal governance, and financial accounting. We ensure that the agency follows good accounting practices and are responsible for the annual report. About the Position In your role as an accounting economist, your main responsibilities will include: Accounts Payable process, which includes payments to projects and providing support to operations in vendor invoice management. Accounts Receivable process, which includes reviewing and ensuring that documentation for customer invoicing is accurate. Incoming payments Regularly responding to inquiries from operations Loan accounting Fixed asset register Year-end closing work with reconciliations and annual report System administration Your work location is: Stockholm or Östersund Requirements for this position: Economics education from university or college, or education that Tillväxtverket considers relevant for the position (higher vocational education). Several years of experience working with similar tasks Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written The following knowledge/experience is meriting: Accounting systems such as Unit4 ERP Public sector accounting System changes or implementations Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel As a person, we are looking for someone who is responsible, thorough, and analytical, with a strong ability to build relationships.
