About the Role
As an Accounting Economist with us, you will be an important part of the finance department and work closely with the Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, and other colleagues within the finance function. The role is broad and varied and suits you if you enjoy both routine work and more advanced tasks.
Your Main Responsibilities
The role includes typical accounting department tasks, such as ongoing bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable, payments, tax filings, account reconciliations, and participation in monthly and period closing as well as preparation of annual reports.
Beyond this, you will also work with:
• Ensuring correct accounting according to K3 and performing ongoing account reconciliations
• Following up on customer balances and overdue invoices in close collaboration with other functions
• Handling reporting and follow-up and contributing broadly to the finance department's work and supporting colleagues as needed
• Reporting taxes, fees, and payment flows, and handling, for example, energy taxes and supplier payments
• Preparation of financial monthly and weekly reports as well as reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Other work occurring in the accounting department
Who Are We Looking For?
To succeed in the role, you have:
• An accounting degree from a university/college, or alternatively secondary-level accounting education combined with at least 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Good understanding of accounting rules according to K3
• Good system skills and a structured working approach
• Several years of experience from a similar role
• Excellent communication skills, both in Swedish and English
It is especially positive if you also have:
• Experience from international operations and from the manufacturing industry
• A strong business interest and understanding of how accounting processes connect with other parts of the business
As a person, you are communicative and find it easy to collaborate with colleagues both within and outside the accounting department. You enjoy working in teams and projects, where you are humble, attentive, and solution-oriented.

About the Employment
The position is full-time, permanent. Location is Karlstad. Travel to our other facilities will occur. Start date by agreement.
