About the Role As Accounting Manager, you have overall responsibility for the company's accounting and work closely with operations on matters related to accounting, financial statements, and reporting. You lead and support a team of five people and serve as a qualified sounding board on accounting-related matters. The role is initially very accounting-focused and is therefore suitable for you if you are confident in qualified accounting and can independently take responsibility for the entire accounting process in a company. At the same time, this is a company in strong growth both organically and through acquisitions, which means that the role will develop over time and responsibilities will expand. For you who are motivated by being part of developing work methods, processes, and the finance function, there are therefore good opportunities to take an active role in the continued development. Key Responsibilities • Work operatively with the company's accounting and ensure high quality in ongoing accounting work • Overall responsibility for the company's accounting • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Ensure quality and accuracy in ongoing accounting • Prepare annual reports and ensure that accounting and reporting comply with applicable regulations • Responsible for reconciliations, accruals, and other qualified accounting matters • Handle VAT and tax-related matters • Provide qualified support and serve as a sounding board for the team on accounting technical matters • Lead, allocate, and follow up on work within the accounting team • Contact with auditors and other external parties • Identify and drive improvements in processes and work methods • Contribute with analysis and materials for reporting and follow-up • Participate in development and change work within the finance function Qualifications We are looking for someone with solid experience in qualified accounting and who is very confident in the entire accounting process. To succeed in the role, we would like you to have previously held independent full responsibility for accounting in a company and to be experienced in independently driving the financial statement work from start to finish. • Academic education in economics or equivalent • Several years of experience in qualified accounting • Experience in independently managing a company's entire accounting • Very good knowledge of financial statements and annual reports • Good understanding of accounting regulations and accounting technical matters • Experience leading and supporting others in accounting • Previous people management responsibility is a merit but not required • Good system experience and very good Excel skills • Experience with, for example, mergers or other complex accounting matters is a merit • Swedish and English, spoken and written About You As a person, you are confident, unpretentious, and solution-oriented with a strong interest in accounting. You have a strong accounting technical foundation and enjoy taking independent responsibility for complex matters while enjoying sharing your knowledge and supporting colleagues on the team. You are accustomed to working in a structured and thorough manner and have the ability to switch between operational accounting matters and a broader perspective. Furthermore, we would like you to be confident in a leadership role and have a natural interest in developing both people, processes, and work methods.
