Your responsibilities
As accounting manager, you have an operational and business-close responsibility for accounting, while at the same time leading and developing our Claims team consisting of six employees. The role combines daily leadership with responsibility for structure, quality and monitoring.
You work closely with the CFO and are an important support in analysis, reporting and year-end closing work. The role also includes collaboration with our outsourced accounting team in India, which requires clear communication and an unpretentious way of working.
The role has a clear operational focus and is not a classical strategic finance manager role, but a defined management role with focus on accounting, team leadership and stable delivery in daily operations.
Your main responsibilities
• Lead, coach and develop the Claims team in daily work
• Create structure, clear working methods and good work distribution
• Ensure correct accounting in accordance with applicable regulations
• Ongoing reconciliations, cost monitoring and quality assurance
• Support the business in matters related to finance and billing
• Responsible for tax returns and reporting, for example to Statistics Sweden
• Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closings as well as audits in close collaboration with the CFO
Your profile
You have a solid foundation in accounting and feel confident leading others. You appreciate working close to your team, are clear in your leadership and enjoy a role where you combine operational work with responsibility for people and structure.
We believe that you:
• Have experience in accounting and financial monitoring work
• Have had people responsibility or a clear coordinating responsibility previously
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English
• Have good knowledge of Excel and preferably experience with SAP or similar business systems
• Are solution-oriented, stable and enjoy working close to the business
You don't need to have worked in an exactly similar role before – most importantly is that you are confident in both accounting and leadership.
