We are now seeking an Accounting Manager for Lantmännen Biorefineries in Norrköping. You will report to the Finance Manager and become an important part of ensuring stability, quality, and development in the financial management of several companies within the group. Lantmännen Biorefineries is one of Sweden's leading producers of bioenergy products and food ingredients. The company has a growth agenda with new business and investment projects planned. We produce a broad spectrum of products, from sustainable bioethanol with world-leading climate performance to food ingredients and protein-rich animal feed. Sales of plant-based proteins and starch for food represent a growing share of the company's revenue, which in 2025 amounted to 4.5 billion kronor. What you will do As Accounting Manager, you have overall responsibility for the accounting function and lead a team of seven employees. You create conditions for a well-functioning team through clear leadership, structure, and a hands-on approach where you both support in day-to-day operations and drive long-term development. You are responsible for ensuring correct, efficient, and timely financial reporting for a total of six companies within the group, where monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts form central parts of the assignment. The companies are located in Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. An important part of the role is to further develop internal controls—not only to meet group requirements, but by actively identifying improvements that strengthen quality, efficiency, and risk management. You work closely with operations and have an operational presence in accounting processes. This means you personally participate in and ensure quality in work with the business system M3, which is a central tool in the role, as well as in Visma.net for smaller companies. You are also expected to drive improvement and change initiatives within accounting, where elements such as Lean principles and process development are desirable parts. The role also involves coordinating and supporting accounting between multiple companies in the group and participating in or leading initiatives related to development. Lantmännen Biorefineries is part of the Lantmännen group, so the role includes primary responsibility for reporting according to IFRS to the group's head office in Stockholm. What you need to succeed and thrive You have An academic degree in economics or accounting Experience in a leadership role within finance/accounting Strong experience with year-end closing and accounting in a group environment Strong experience with business systems, where work in M3 is highly valued Experience with group reporting according to IFRS Experience driving improvement work and preferably change initiatives Good understanding of internal controls and accounting processes You are A confident and clear leader who can engage and develop teams, even during change Structured and thorough with a strong sense of quality, deadlines, and the bigger picture Self-driven and operational, with the ability to switch between detail and broader perspectives Communicative and collaboration-oriented with the ability to build good relationships in the organization Driven in improvement work and motivated by developing ways of working and processes What we offer you You get a central role in a business where the accounting function has important significance for both management and development.
