Accounting Assistant to Major Corporation in Hammarby Sjöstad

SJR is now seeking an accounting assistant for our client – a major corporation with offices in Hammarby Sjöstad. This is a consulting position through SJR on a full-time basis, starting immediately and running for 6 months. After that, there are good opportunities for extension or potential direct employment with the client. About the Position You will become part of an engaged and pleasant team in the accounting department, where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a positive atmosphere are a natural part of everyday work. The role offers a flexible workday with the opportunity to work remotely one day per week, which creates good conditions for balance between work and leisure. Responsibilities - Handling cash accounting - Ongoing bookkeeping - Reconciliations - Review of expense reports - Ongoing bookkeeping related to payment flows - Other accounting department tasks as needed Desired Background We are looking for someone with secondary education in economics and several years of experience as an accounting or finance assistant. You have good Excel skills, are system-savvy, and find it easy to learn new work methods and tools. Previous experience with Visma is a merit. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. In this role, you work with large transaction flows and use several different systems to manage and track payment information, which contributes to a varied workday and good opportunities for development. Experience in accounting combined with project thinking is desirable for this role.
