We are now looking for a self-driven, structured, and accounting-strong Accounting Manager who wants to combine operational responsibility with close and engaged leadership. The position is located at our headquarters in central Stockholm, where you will become an important part of a team characterized by collaboration, forward-thinking, and high competence. About the role As Accounting Manager, you will be the hub of accounting for Svalner Atlas. You work closely with the CFO and Group CFO, and lead a team consisting of three accounting specialists/accounting assistants. The role is broad and operational where you work on everything from start to finish while driving improvements and creating structure in an environment where not everything is already built. You will, among other things: Have overall responsibility for ongoing accounting Lead and support the team within accounts receivable and payable Perform monthly and annual closing Ensure correct VAT and tax reporting Prepare annual reports and tax returns according to K3 Manage intercompany transactions and parts of group accounting Drive improvement work and streamline accounting processes Be a requirements setter toward system vendors Maintain ongoing contact with auditors About you We are looking for someone who is confident in your accounting expertise and thrives in a role where you both work operationally and lead others. You like to create structure, drive change, and make things happen, even when processes are not completely in place. You are used to working in owner-led or project-intensive environments and have an easy time navigating organizations where flexibility and clarity need to go hand in hand. We believe you have: A degree in Business Administration or equivalent education in accounting At least five years of experience with qualified accounting work Experience with K3 Good IT skills and Excel proficiency Previous personnel responsibility or supervisory role Ability to drive change and be a clear requirements setter A structured approach and good communication skills Svalner Atlas offers a work environment characterized by collaboration, commitment, and a strong sense of community.
