We are looking for someone with a background in qualified accounting, preferably from industrial companies, groups, or audit firms, and who is ready to take overall responsibility for the company's financial accounting and reporting. Requirements and qualifications: Solid experience with accounting according to K3 (required), preferably also knowledge of IFRS Experience independently preparing annual reports, tax returns, and other regulatory reports Experience with reconciliations, financial statements, and budgeting processes Good knowledge of tax matters Good experience in contact with external auditors and authorities Experience working in an international group Very good skills in Excel and other parts of MS Office Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing Driver's license (category B). Meritorious: Experience working at an audit firm Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Practical experience with various complex accounting issues, such as provisions, fixed assets, etc. Ability to understand and speak French. What does the role entail? As Chief Accountant, you will have a key role with responsibility for the company's accounting from start to finish. You drive both strategic and operational aspects of the accounting work and ensure that reporting maintains high quality, follows regulations, and is delivered on time. The role involves close collaboration with auditors, CFO, and other internal stakeholders – where you are the one providing confidence, structure, and expertise in accounting matters. With work tasks that include: Perform bookkeeping activities and monthly financial statements Prepare annual reports and regulatory reporting Responsible for tax matters and declarations Manage investments, fixed assets, and provisions Manage contact with auditors and prepare for audits Participate in improvement and change initiatives within the finance function Provide support to other departments on accounting matters Work actively with cash flow, budget, and monitoring.
