We are looking for you who have a background in qualified accounting, preferably from industrial companies, groups or audit firms, and who are ready to take full responsibility for the company's financial accounting and reporting. Requirements and qualifications: Solid experience in accounting according to K3 (required), preferably also knowledge of IFRS Experience in independently preparing annual reports, tax returns and other regulatory reports Experience with reconciliations, financial statements and budget processes Good knowledge of tax matters Good experience in contact with external auditors and authorities Experience from work in an international group Very good skills in Excel and other parts of MS Office Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing B-class driver's license. Meritorious: Experience working at an audit firm Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Practical experience with various complex accounting issues, such as provisions, fixed assets, etc. Understand and speak French. The role requires patience, accuracy and an ability to explain complex issues in a clear and pedagogical manner. You need to be responsive and collaborative, while taking the lead in your expertise. What does the role entail? As Chief Accountant you will have a key role with responsibility for the company's accounting from A to Z. You drive both strategic and operational aspects of the accounting work and are responsible for ensuring that reporting maintains high quality, complies with regulations and is delivered on time. The role involves close cooperation with auditors, CFO and other internal stakeholders – where you are the one who provides reliability, structure and expertise in accounting matters. With work tasks that for example include: Perform accounting activities and monthly financial statements Prepare annual reports and regulatory reporting Responsible for tax matters and tax returns Manage investments, fixed assets and provisions Drive contact with auditors and prepare for audits Participate in improvement and change work within the finance function Provide support to other departments on accounting matters Work actively with cash flow, budget and follow-up.
