The School Law Unit is now seeking an additional editor for the Swedish National Agency for Education's Regulatory Collection (SKOLFS). About the Job Your primary responsibility will be editing the Swedish National Agency for Education's Regulatory Collection (SKOLFS). You will be responsible for editorial quality assurance of regulations and, in close collaboration with other editors and colleagues at the agency, plan and implement various work with regulations and general advice. Your tasks also include electronic publishing, creating registers and annual indexes, and participating in various development projects related to the Agency's regulatory mission. Other administrative or quality assurance tasks may also be relevant depending on the organization's ongoing needs. You work both independently and with others, maintaining both internal and external contacts. You will be placed in the School Law Unit where both lawyers and editors work; in total we are 15 employees. The School Law Unit works, among other things, to coordinate and ensure the quality of the Swedish National Agency for Education's regulations legally and editorially. Learn more at www.skolverket.se/jobb For this job, you should have: - completed and approved upper secondary school education - at least one year of current experience with qualified administrative work involving text processing including work with formatting templates, or other relevant editorial work - excellent ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish - good computer skills and experience working with common systems, such as the Office package. It is meritorious if you have post-secondary education, for example in social sciences, and good knowledge of public administration. It is also meritorious if you have experience working with regulatory text or Adobe Acrobat. As a person, you need to: - be self-driven and responsible with good judgment and high integrity - have a structured work approach, good ability to independently plan both short and long term, and be able to prioritize and manage several parallel tasks - be flexible, efficient, and have good ability to familiarize yourself with different system tools - be thorough, quality-conscious, and have an eye for detail - have good communication skills and good ability to collaborate in a group.
