We are now seeking an engaged and business-driven reception manager who wants to take full responsibility for the hotel's reception while contributing to our continued development. About the Role As reception manager, you are responsible for ensuring that the reception operates efficiently, professionally, and with the highest possible service level. The reception is the heart of the hotel and often the guest's first and last contact with us. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, leadership, and development. You have overall responsibility for the reception and work closely with the hotel manager. The role is both operational and strategic, meaning you lead the day-to-day work while also driving the business forward. As reception manager, you are also part of the hotel's management group and play an important role in developing the business, strengthening internal communication, and creating long-term profitability. Your Main Areas of Responsibility Leadership and Personnel • Lead, delegate, and follow up on reception work • Create engagement, job satisfaction, and team spirit • Manage scheduling and vacation planning • Conduct development conversations with reception staff • Participate in salary setting • Recruit, introduce, and train new employees • Ensure high competence and service quality within the team Operations and Guest Experience • Actively participate in daily reception work • Ensure that guests receive warm, professional, and personal treatment • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and any compensation • Work actively to develop guest experience and strengthen our service culture Business and Development • Monitor and analyze booking status and occupancy • Work on pricing together with the hotel manager • Manage allotment agreements and relationships with booking companies and tour operators • Work actively with upselling and revenue optimization • Identify areas for improvement and develop reception procedures • Communicate and anchor decisions from operational and management meetings We Are Looking for Someone Who • Has experience from the hotel industry or tourism sector • Has documented leadership experience • Is confident in making decisions and taking responsibility • Has good understanding of sales, occupancy, and business matters • Is organized and has strong administrative skills • Is a role model for your colleagues and leads through engagement and presence • Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently As a Person, You Are • Service-oriented and unpretentious • Driven and solution-oriented • Communicative and clear • Responsible and proactive • Engaged in both people and results We Offer • A key role in the hotel's management group • Great opportunities to influence and develop the business • An engaged team with high ambitions • A workplace in one of Sweden's most beautiful settings • Opportunity to grow together with the business Application: Welcome to submit your application by 2026-08-31.
