Järfälla Municipality in northwestern Stockholm is one of Sweden's fastest-growing municipalities. The Municipal Executive Board Administration in Järfälla Municipality is responsible for the municipality's overall development, financial position, community building, overarching communications work, personnel strategy, and more. Within the administration, there is a central reception and internal services department responsible for over 800 workplaces in three separate buildings and three receptions that serve citizens and the municipality's own organization. The department consists of 12 employees, of which 5 are reception staff, two caretakers, 4 other service staff, and one department manager. We are seeking a receptionist colleague (parental leave coverage) for the social services department's reception. Together with the entire unit, you will work to provide excellent service and quality for the municipality's residents. You will work on an existing schedule governed by the reception's opening hours. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a receptionist, you are the municipality's face to the public and have an important role for both the municipality's citizens and employees. Main responsibilities: · receive visitors · mail handling and package receipt · manage cases in the department's case management system · collaboration and cooperation with social services employees · handle certain orders and bookings · staff the municipality's other receptions as needed · perform certain administrative tasks QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: - post-secondary/vocational education that the employer considers relevant for the position - at least 1 year of experience working in a reception - very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing - very good computer skills - a Class B driver's license and experience driving a car It is a merit if you have good knowledge of the social services department's different target groups and can adapt your communication accordingly. Previous experience with administrative work within a social services department or other government agency is also desirable.
