Tännäskröket is a family-owned mountain resort in Funäsfjällen, western Härjedalen. We are a year-round facility where nature, community, and personal experience are at the center. Here we create genuine mountain experiences through care for our guests, our employees, and our surroundings – both in totality and in detail. At our resort you'll find mountain cabins, apartments and camping, a restaurant, sports rental, and skiing on two mountains with a total of 17 runs. We also offer cross-country skiing and snowmobile tours. During summer and fall, Funäsfjällen attracts visitors with hiking, fishing, paddling, and cycling. We are looking for a reception and restaurant manager who enjoys service, people, and making things happen. You are someone who thrives best when you are close to operations and where the guests are. About the role You have overall responsibility for our guest service, which includes the restaurant, reception, and booking. This is a role for someone who wants to combine practical operational work with greater responsibility for developing and driving the business forward. You have a natural eye for both the guest experience and the business. You see opportunities for improvement, come up with ideas, and enjoy developing our offerings. You also like sales – creating good deals, building relationships, and finding new opportunities to get more guests to discover Tännäskröket. Your responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: Work actively in daily operations in reception and restaurant and during the winter season lead a team of approximately 7 employees Work with booking accommodations and activities Plan and develop the restaurant's offerings together with the head chef Manage groups and events – from inquiry and sales to planning and implementation Drive sales and develop new business opportunities Work with budget, follow-up, and cost control together with our site manager Manage purchasing and contribute to quality development Recruit, onboard, and lead staff as well as work with scheduling and staffing Who are you? We believe you thrive in this role if you are energized by people and genuinely enjoy providing great service. You are unpretentious and willing to roll up your sleeves when needed, while also being able to see the bigger picture and how the business can develop in the long term. We would like to see that you have experience from the hotel, restaurant, or hospitality industry and have worked in a role with responsibility for operations, personnel, or management. Experience with budget work and financial follow-up is a plus, but you will receive support from both the site manager and the CEO – the most important thing is that you have business acumen and a desire to understand and develop the business. You need to communicate well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and feel comfortable with digital systems. If you have experience with Visbook and Visit Group, that's a plus. You report to the site manager and are part of Tännäskröket's management team. This is a permanent full-time position with a six-month initial probationary period. Work takes place mainly during daytime on weekdays, but evening and weekend work occurs during peak season and as needed. Salary and start date by agreement. If needed, we can provide staff housing.
