The Pharmacist Role in Department Pharmacy As one of our colleagues is relocating to another region, we're now seeking a new team member for our team at Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö. As a licensed pharmacist with us, your work tasks include patient-centered medication work on the hospital's care units and medication supply. You participate in work on care units where you perform medication reconciliations, discuss medications with patients, prepare medications, and order and restock medications in the care units' medication supplies. You work independently on the care unit while maintaining close collaboration and continuous dialogue with your team colleagues. Most of your time will be spent on your "home care unit," but over time you'll learn to work on multiple care units. This is a permanent position with a start date by agreement. Your placement is at Höglandssjukhuset Eksjö. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays (no weekends) from 7:30 AM–4:00 PM. Your Future Workplace Healthcare Pharmacy is responsible for ensuring that Region Jönköping County procures and uses medications in the best possible way. We operate at the county's three hospitals, and our operations include medication supply to hospitals, manufacturing/preparation of cytostatics and sterile preparations, department pharmacy, and clinical pharmacy. Together we are approximately 55 employees, of whom nine work at Höglandssjukhuset Eksjö. We particularly value your interest in working close to patient care and your willingness to learn our field of work. Perhaps you have experience as a pharmacist and are curious about changing focus. Or perhaps you're newly graduated and want to apply and develop your skills in a role working closely with healthcare. Regardless, your attitude and motivation to grow in the role is most important to us! If you have previous experience with patient-centered pharmaceutical work and/or experience preparing and dispensing medications, that will be valuable. For this position, you need to be comfortable expressing yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and have good experience working with various IT systems.
