About the Operation The Pharmacy Unit currently has 23 employees. Most who work here are pharmacists, but we also have other professional categories employed in the unit. Our mission is to promote safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication use and medication supply, as well as to provide operational and strategic support to healthcare operations. Our mission covers the entire region, which means we work from a regional perspective and collaborate closely with the Pharmacy Committee. We have staff located at three locations in the region: Sundsvall, Härnösand, and Örnsköldsvik. We also staff Sollefteå Hospital one day per week. The Pharmacy Unit's assignments are within three main processes: medication supply, medication use, and clinical medication support. Within these processes, we work with, among other things, medication supply, medication management, medication issues, and medication budgets. You will be introduced by experienced colleagues and mentored by a mentor. With us, you have the opportunity to be part of developing our operations! We are now seeking a pharmacist for the Pharmacy Unit in Örnsköldsvik. The position is a permanent full-time appointment with a start date by agreement. You will work at Sollefteå Hospital on average two days per month. Responsibilities In your role as a pharmacist, you will be part of the team working with operational and strategic medication issues related to the region's medication supply. The work involves close collaboration and continuous contact with healthcare personnel. Quality audits of healthcare medication management involve visits to various healthcare units, including health centers and dental clinics throughout the region. This involves travel on duty approximately once per week. You will, among other things, work with ordering and unpacking medications at hospital units, which includes structured medication inventory and assortment work as well as handling of surpluses and shortages of medications.
