About the Operations The Pharmacy Unit currently employs 23 people. Most who work here are pharmacists, but we also have other professional categories employed at the unit. Our mission is to promote safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication use and supply, as well as to provide operational and strategic support to healthcare operations. Our mandate covers the entire region, which means we work from a regional perspective and collaborate closely with the Pharmacy Committee. We have staff located at three sites in the region: Sundsvall, Härnösand, and Örnsköldsvik. We also staff Sollefteå Hospital one day per week. The assignments for the Pharmacy Unit fall within three main processes: medication supply, medication use, and point-of-care medication support. Within these processes, we work with medication supply, medication management, medication issues, and medication budgets. You will be introduced by experienced colleagues and mentored by a mentor. With us, you will have the opportunity to be part of developing our operations! We are now seeking a pharmacy technician for the Pharmacy Unit in Örnsköldsvik. This is a permanent, full-time position with a start date by agreement. You will work at Sollefteå Hospital approximately two days per month. Job Responsibilities In your role as a pharmacy technician, you will be part of the team working with operational and strategic medication issues related to the region's medication supply. The work involves close collaboration and continuous contact with healthcare staff. Quality auditing of healthcare medication management involves visits to various healthcare units, including health centers and public dental care facilities throughout the region. This involves business travel approximately once per week. You will work with ordering and unpacking medications at the hospital's care units, which includes structured medication inventory and assortment management as well as handling of medication shortages and discrepancies.
