About Us Forensic Psychiatry is a unique operation within Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Our mission is to provide individually adapted psychiatric care and rehabilitation to patients sentenced to institutional care, as well as care for patients deprived of liberty under other legislation when they have a need for acute psychiatric specialist care. The operation has inpatient facilities with high security classification. We have an important healthcare mission but also an important public safety mission, and therefore place special demands on security awareness and cooperation. What Do We Offer You? Your Responsibilities As a security operator, you are part of the security unit and work at the heart of our operations. You ensure that care is provided in a safe environment for both patients and staff. The work is varied and includes, among other things: - Monitoring and operation of technical security systems such as video surveillance, access control, and alarms - Receiving visitors at reception and conducting security checks - Handling incoming calls, alarms, and incidents in the facility's control center - Cooperation with other units and authorities as needed - Responsibility for conducting security training for, among others, facility staff Work is conducted around the clock, year-round – which means three-shift work About You A category B driver's license is required. Physical fitness and normal color vision are requirements for the position. Meritorious qualifications include training and/or experience in security work. The following experiences are meritorious: Experience with security controls in environments with high demands for precision and attention, including operation of metal detectors and review of X-ray images. Experience in alarm centers, reception, or other service-oriented operations where you have managed multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in high-tempo environments, such as hotel or airport operations, is valued. You express yourself well in Swedish in speech and writing and can communicate in English. You have good computer skills and easily grasp technical systems. As a person, you are attentive and have the ability to make well-founded decisions. You collaborate well with others and contribute to a good work environment.
