Rasmusbyn, a place for everyone. We are seeking hourly temporary staff for Rasmusbyn, a unique LSS operation located in a rural setting between Örebro and Nora. Our unique concept is to operate a small farm together with our residents. We share the village with horses, dogs, sheep, chickens, and rabbits. Here we follow the rhythm of the seasons and have a fantastic community. We provide our residents with a life with less stress, stability, and care. Our care work is the focus and our target group is people with functional variations, LSS category 1. The operation is designed as a modern village collective and consists of four group homes with a daily activity program for a total of 20 residents. Our mission is to strengthen each resident through individually adapted care. To thrive with us, you need to share our sociotherapeutic values. We are approximately 60 employees and staff our group homes around the clock. In the daily activities, 7 supervisors work in our areas: stables, farm, creative activities, and kitchen. Everyone participates in the work according to their ability. Rasmusbyn's ambition and goal is to be one of Sweden's best LSS operations. Since our start in 2017, we have come a long way and now have a good reputation and strong testimonials from clients and employees. Rasmusbyn is built on a sociotherapeutic foundation, and we offer ongoing training in this area both internally and externally. The goal as an employee is to contribute to the development of the operation with your skills and experience. Work Tasks: As a care assistant, you work in the care recipient's home and provide support with daily tasks. You also work in our daily activities where animal care is included, and some work time is spent outdoors regardless of weather. In this position, you also accompany residents on trips, outings, and errands. At Rasmusbyn we eat together in our dining hall. A meal deduction applies for this. Requirements: - Work varying hours including days, evenings, weekends, and on-call nights. There is also the possibility to work awake nights. - B-class driver's license and access to your own car to commute to and from the facility. Merits: - Nursing assistant training, care training, treatment assistant/support assistant certification. - Experience with low-arousal approaches and alternative augmentative communication. - Experience with social documentation. - Experience working within LSS. - Experience with farm work and/or handling horses. Salary We apply individual salary setting. The hourly rate is within the range of 140–170 kr/hour, excluding vacation pay. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
