WORK TASKS As a fire safety engineer or civil engineer specializing in risk management with us, you work with qualified matters within public safety and preventive fire safety. We are looking primarily for you who wants to work with planning and building matters, urban planning, and accident investigation. You will have an important role in influencing the design of future buildings and community environments through early intervention in the planning and building process. The role may also include tasks such as supervision, permit review, referral handling, matters related to hazardous activities, and advisory work. You will thus have a varied role that combines strategic and long-term urban planning work with qualified handling of individual cases. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree as a fire safety engineer and/or civil engineer specializing in risk management, or ongoing education where the degree is completed by the start of employment. You have a good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and possess a driver's license category B. It is meritorious, but not a requirement, if you have: • experience from preventive work in municipal fire and rescue services, • experience in building technical fire safety, • experience in risk management, • completed basic course in accident investigation, 5 credits, and the fire scene examination course for the police authority and fire and rescue services.
