Orkla Health, Wound Care, develops, manufactures, and markets wound care and first aid products for consumers, workplaces, and industrial customers. The company has a strong tradition of in-house product development and innovation, and has played an important role in shaping the consumer wound care and first aid category. Well-known brands in the category include Salvequick, Salvelox, and Norgesplaster in the B2C segment, and Cederroth First Aid and Snögg in the B2B segment. In the Wound Care category, approximately 35 people work at the office in Solna, where a total of approximately 220 employees work within Orkla's various product segments. The business holds leading positions in the Nordic region and has a strong international presence. About the Role In the Regulatory & Quality (R&Q) group within Orkla Health, Wound Care category, a total of 9 people work, of which 5 are based at the Solna office. In your role as Quality Manager, you will drive quality work across the entire Wound Care category. The role is both strategic and operational, with responsibility for developing working methods while staying close to daily quality monitoring. You work independently and in close collaboration with colleagues within the company. The heart of the role is to create a proactive approach and drive continuous improvements within quality. As Quality Manager, you contribute to ensuring that quality requirements are effectively integrated throughout the entire product lifecycle, in close collaboration with Product Development, Regulatory Affairs, Production, Marketing, and Sales. The role is varied and involves many points of contact. Externally, you interact with, for example, suppliers, customers, certification bodies, and internally with quality resources at our production facilities and within other categories. The role involves some travel, to colleagues/production facilities and during supplier audits. Your work tasks include but are not limited to: • Develop and maintain the quality management system (QMS). • Monitor quality performance and drive improvements in products and processes. • Lead internal audits and supplier audits. • Coordinate external audits. • Handle complaints, deviations, and CAPA. • Answer quality-related questions from customers and other stakeholders. • Manage vigilance activities, FSCA (Field Safety Corrective Actions), and recalls. • Conduct sustainability follow-ups with suppliers. Your Profile We are looking for someone with a structured and analytical approach, a strong interest in quality work and continuous improvements. You have the ability to interpret requirements and translate them into practical solutions that support both regulatory compliance and business objectives. You are motivated by collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and you understand that successful quality work is built on engagement and participation throughout the business. You are a good communicator with a trustworthy presence. As a person, you are proactive, solution-oriented, and flexible. You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can work independently and drive your tasks forward. You are comfortable taking initiative and prioritizing based on business needs, while maintaining a structured grip on the details. We would like to see that you have: • An academic degree in Life Science, engineering, quality management, or equivalent field. • 2–4 years of experience in quality work within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industry. • Good knowledge of QMS, CAPA, and ISO 13485 and related standards. • Experience with medical device regulations (MDD/MDR). • Experience in planning and conducting internal audits and/or supplier audits. • Experience participating in external audits conducted by certification bodies and authorities. • Fluency in at least one Scandinavian language and English, spoken and written.
