Your responsibilities
At Saab, you will work with quality from a holistic perspective, in close collaboration with production, procurement, development, and suppliers. Your role and responsibilities may vary, but what is common is that you will have an important role in ensuring, following up, and developing quality in complex technical processes.
Depending on your background and experience, you may work with, for example:
Management of quality deviations, complaints, and defect cases
Quality assurance of products, materials, and processes
Root cause analyses, risk analyses, and improvement work
Development and creation of quality processes and controls
Collaboration with production, customers, and/or suppliers
Audits and monitoring of quality performance
The work takes place in cross-functional teams and can involve both operational and development aspects. Some roles involve close contact with customers/suppliers and travel, while others focus more on production and internal processes.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is structured, solution-oriented, and has a genuine interest in quality. You are communicative and have the ability to clearly and convincingly explain quality requirements and risks to different stakeholders. You thrive with responsibility, take own initiatives, and enjoy working both independently and in teams. You have a humble approach and a desire to develop yourself.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
A degree in engineering or university education within a related field, or equivalent experience
Several years of experience in quality work or project management, preferably within industry
Knowledge of quality tools, methods, and standards (for example 8D, DMAIC, 6σ, RCA, MSA, FMEA)
A requirement for the role is that you have very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Experience with audits, improvement work, or work with suppliers/customers is highly meritious.
The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to applicable regulations for security clearance at any given time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, there may be requirements for certain citizenship in some cases.
