Quality Engineer – Production-Focused Quality Assurance

We are now seeking a Quality Engineer for an exciting consulting assignment with our client in the defense industry. This role is ideal for someone who wants to work closely with production and contribute to high-quality manufacturing through an operational and solution-oriented quality approach with focus on purchased materials. About the Assignment As a Quality Engineer, you will support production on quality matters related to purchased materials. You will work closely with daily operations and ensure that deviations are handled effectively to minimize impact on production and deliveries. The role involves close collaboration with production, procurement, engineering, and supplier quality, as well as active participation in quality and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities - Support production with quality assessment of purchased materials. - Manage material deviations in the production environment. - Drive claims and root cause analyses together with suppliers and Supplier Quality. - Ensure that corrective and preventive actions are identified, implemented, and followed up. - Participate in and drive improvement work related to quality, processes, and workflows. - Contribute to the development and improvement of quality procedures and working methods. - Collaborate closely with production, procurement, engineering, and other quality functions. Your Profile - 3 years of relevant experience in quality work in production or industrial environments. - Relevant academic degree or equivalent work experience. - Good understanding of deviation management, root cause analysis, 8D, and risk assessments. - Ability to work thoroughly, systematically, and with a solution-oriented approach. - Comfortable in an operational role with many contact points and close collaboration with multiple functions. - Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Additional Information Scope: 100% Location: Linköping Work Model: Primarily on-site with possibility for some remote work. Security Clearance: A security clearance will be conducted before the assignment starts and is a prerequisite for taking on the role.
